Cool Background Wallpapers For Girls Biography
The fifteen tracks listed for the album give the impression that it is about the same length as the band's previous two albums, but only seven of the tracks are "actual" songs. The other eight tracks play a variation of the same melody. These eight tracks are treated as musical interludes and are marked with Roman numerals. Most of these interludes range from ten seconds to a minute in length (with the exception of "vi. Drifting Patterns" which is over two and a half minutes long). The result length is 27 minutes.
Girls' Generation is a nine-member South Korean pop girl group formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2007.[1][2] They are also referred to as SoShi (소시) or SNSD by their fans, both abbreviated forms of the group's Korean name
Girls' Generation has released three Korean full albums, three Korean mini-albums, one Japanese full album and various singles. Their 2009 hit single "Gee" holds the record for being the longest running No. 1 song on KBS Music Bank, having held the No. 1 chart ranking for nine consecutive weeks. Gee was named song of the decade by the Korean music site, Melon.
The group began a foray into the Japanese music scene in late 2010 under Nayutawave Records, a part of Universal Music, with the Japanese remakes of their 2009 Korean hits "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)" and "Gee".
Critical response to the album was varied. A common criticism was that the album contained too many interludes. (In fact, there are more musical interludes on the album than there are songs.) Pitchfork Media, for instance, stated that many of these interludes were "annoying" [1]. However, both fans and critics generally agree that the non-interlude songs are exceptional.
The ultra-psychedelic production of the album enticed critics to make comparisons to popular albums by The Beatles and The Beach Boys.
The show was created by Tony Jordan and produced by Kudos for ITV. Filming for series one started in July 2007 and the show began airing on ITV on 10 January 2008, continuing at 9 pm on Fridays thereafter for twelve weekly episodes.[3] The "fictional" soap opera Echo Beach was itself shown immediately afterwards at 9.30 pm.
A six-episode second series of Moving Wallpaper was commissioned and began airing on ITV on 28 February 2009, again in the Friday 9 pm slot. The companion soap Echo Beach was cancelled, however, and the storylines of series two instead revolved around a "zombie show" called Renaissance.[4] Unlike Echo Beach in series one, which was a full broadcast series, Renaissance was a half-hour pilot[5] screened after the conclusion of the second series only on the ITV website, itv.com.
In Australia, season one of Moving Wallpaper aired back-to-back with Echo Beach on ABC2 each Friday at 8:30pm from 30 May, 2008.[6] Both programs were later repeated on the higher-rated ABC1 channel a year later from 6 May, 2009 on Wednesday nights. Yet, this time, Echo Beach was separated from its sister program and placed in an early Saturday evening timeslot three days later.[7] Season two premiered on ABC1 each Friday night at 10:15pm from 19 February, 2010
